Brioches Fonteneau is above all a family story that began in 1977. Today, it has more than 300 employees, 3 production sites in Vendée and more than 45 years of know-how !

OUR HISTORY

The story begins in 1977 in Chavagnes-en-Paillers when Gilles and Marie-Jo Fonteneau bought a small bakery. Driven by their shared passion for Vendée gastronomy, the Fonteneau family quickly devoted all their energy to making brioches and gâches. Shortly after the launch and thanks to their two-horsepower vehicle, they began delivering their products to the region's supermarkets. The small van is now the brand's emblem !

Since 2017, Mathieu and Christine, the second generation at the head of the company. Today, it is a growing company that they continue to innovate with passion, kindness and commitment.

OUR PRODUCTS

Brioches Fonteneau is committed to offering a wide choice of brioches and gâches for all times of the day. All brioches are made in Vendée in accordance with tradition and baker's know-how. From making their own sourdough to hand-weaving the brioches, discover the unique flavor of Vendée's gourmet heritage !

The factory store is located in Montaigu-Vendée. Isabelle and Sylvie will welcome you from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am. From the traditional Vendée gâche to the Nanterre brioche to the brioche cakes, come and discover or rediscover their products!

Brioche recipes and formats: Red Label brioche, gâche, Nanterre brioche, seed brioche, chocolate chip brioche, pearl sugar brioche, brioche cake… and many more to be found in store.
