  An absolutely extraordinary visit to Talmont Castle! This medieval gem totally transported me back in time.   Great experience. Very informative guided tour. The bird show is nice with the birds flying above our heads. As for the show with the horses, it explains the life of King Richard the Lionheart well. We learn a lot from the narrator. A little introduction to the crossbow. A great afternoon.

  A very successful restoration in every way considering the fact that I knew it in 1965 when I was a kid, on vacation, in a very advanced state of ruin and disrepair. Little known site, but a must see.
