Sel et fleur de sel de la coopérative de sel de Noirmoutier en L’Ile Noirmoutier salt shop

Sauniers and saunières harvest coarse salt and fleur de sel in their raw state. The fleur de sel is harvested from the surface of the water and dried naturally in the sun in the heart of the salt marshes, while the coarse salt is harvested from the bottom of the œillet using a ételle.

The cooperative is responsible for processing and packaging these 100% natural, additive-free, unrefined and unwashed salts.

They offer a variety of ranges, from 80 g to 5 kg, plain or flavored, in bags, recyclable jars, glass or bulk.

You can find their various products, including coarse salt, fleur de sel, fine salt, gift ideas and souvenirs, in their boutique at 11 rue de L’Ecluse in Noirmoutier, open Monday to Friday from April to October.
