I recently spent a whole day at Puy du Fou with my young son, and from morning to evening, we were thoroughly immersed in the breathtaking shows, engaging narratives, and impressive historical displays the park had in store. What stood out immediately was the park's captivating ambiance. It genuinely feels like stepping back in time, with meticulous attention to detail everywhere you look. We were treated to a series of incredible shows, like the riveting Viking event, all of which were a blend of drama, thrill, and history. A standout feature was the park's official mobile app, which transformed our visit. After inputting our interests, the app crafted a customized itinerary for us, ensuring we caught all the highlights. Plus, for those visiting from abroad, the app's simultaneous show translation is a boon. Don't forget to carry headphones to get the most out of this feature! It greatly enriched our viewing experience. A tip for potential visitors: think about packing your own lunch. During our time, we noticed long queues for food, especially sandwiches, and the wait was almost an hour. Additionally, the food's value didn't quite match its price. Bringing your own meal might free up more time to enjoy the park and save a few bucks. Despite visiting on a particularly crowded day in May, the flow of visitors was well-managed. The park's staff was friendly and always willing to help, ensuring our trip was hassle-free and delightful.

An amazing park full of the unexpected in the form of magnificent shows which retell history such as Viking raids, Roman circus games and medieval ages. The park itself is full of beautiful nature and has themed villages with amenities such as shops and restaurants. There are plenty of shows so it is not possible to see them all in one day, and I would recommend planning the visit through the app where you can see which shows are showing at which time. Some must-sees are the Viking show, the Roman games, and the bird show. A lot of the shows contain amazing feats performed by humans and animals, sure to surprise everyone who watches the spectacles. There are also many smaller shows and walk-in ones, and it is possible to stay in one of the hotels so you can see more spectacles on the next day. There is also a very good night show which I recommend seeing. All in all, Puy du Fou is one of the best places I have been to, and it certainly will surprise and awe anybody. However, it does get quite crowded on weekends, and it is necessary to come to the park quite early to see the maximum amount of spectacles. My day at Puy du Fou was magnificent, and I am deeply grateful to all the staff for giving me and everybody else such a great experience.

A completely new caliber of expertise and knowledge. We spent nearly two days there, seeing every show; we had no downtime. Very attentive, kind, and customer-focused staff.

Amazing place. Unreal shows and incredible falconry show and queueing is very very well run. One black mark is that the Wi-Fi and, by extension, the app and translation options, are utterly utterly...
