Brasserie Mélusine Artisans / Producers (Visits and Workshops) in Chanverrie

The Mélusine brewery is located in Chambretaud (85500) and is part of the new commune of Chanverrie, in the heart of the Vendéen bocage just 3km from Puy du Fou and 1 hour from the Vendée coast. She was born in 2001 and bears the magical name of the water fairy: "Mélusine".

Mr Laurent BOITEAU manager of the Mélusine brewery is surrounded by enthusiasts who are keen to introduce craft beer. The Mélusine brewery offers a range of conventional beers and a range of organic beers. All beers are 100% natural: no coloring, no extracts, no additives.

Respectful of the environment, the Mélusine brewery is invested and committed to reducing its water and energy consumption, but also in the management and treatment of its waste. Beers regularly awarded medals at prestigious competitions such as the general agricultural competition or the France beer challenge… These awards show the regularity and quality of the work carried out by the master brewers over all these years.

The Mélusine brewery is also the Hellfest IPA beer in collaboration with the Hellfest festival which takes place in Clisson every year. (The Hellfest site is only 30 minutes from the Mélusine brewery).

The Mélusine brewery welcomes you and offers you a complete 25-minute video where she presents her universe to you. (Production process, history, state of mind…) and at the end of the video a free tasting is offered to you. On site you will also find the shop, which was refurbished in July 2022 in its breathtaking rock universe, so you can bring back good memories of your holidays in Vendée.
