  Unfortunately, I will have very bad memories of my stay at Le Petit Rocher. We left after two days. Yet we go camping every year. On arrival in the accommodation (cocoon lodge 4 places) there were dead insects everywhere (see photo of wooden toilet tablet), a knife wandering around on the table, no sheets as expected, even if it's not very engaging as arrival it did not disturb us. But then we realized that there was an invasion of flying ants in the ceilings of the rooms which were coming out of the wooden beam and crawling on the floor... We had no problem cleaning with a vacuum cleaner by removing around a hundred were coming out more and more from the roof and there were many flying at the windows/beds. I understand that it's not your fault and that we are in nature, so this kind of thing can happen, but a priori the problem was known before our arrival and we were not warned in advance. We have a child who was not reassured to sleep with an invasion of insects because it was his bedroom that was most affected and we could not sleep in the living room. As a solution after a complaint, I was offered to treat with insecticide even though we had just arrived and were going to put our daughter to sleep afterwards, but the problem was in the roof so I refused. No more accommodation available on the entire campsite, we were rehoused after a second complaint in an apartment in the tribe house outside the campsite to be released more quickly, we accepted out of spite. No commercial gesture has been offered since and we have had no contact. Update from October 2024: You talk about the noise, indeed there was the street below so for people looking for calm, you should avoid certain cocoon lodges including the one you assigned to us. But that's not what would have made us leave the campsite if we hadn't changed accommodation. It was clearly the problem of insect infestation, I think few people would have agreed to sleep in such conditions. Olela was a first for us and it will be a last.
