At the entrance to the sumptuous Vendéen coastline, just opposite the Ile de Ré, Longeville-sur-Mer became a seaside resort at the same time as its coastal counterparts in the 20th century.

With its old town, 7.2 km of beaches, the national forest of Longeville and the beginning of the regional Park of the Marais Poitevin , it is a town that has also kept its vocation. The Marais is here an object of economic, territorial and tourist development, with a view to sustainable development , to preserve this fragile ecosystem so particular.

Go for a walk at La Maison du Marais , for a bucolic boat trip . Admire the very beautiful Moulin des Rabouillères , restored, it can be visited for the Heritage Days.

Longeville-sur-Mer is a famous surf spot , on the Conches beach , the Bud Bud area is deemed as qualitative (depending on the swell conditions) as the Landes beaches!
