Marielle Filaudeau, painter and author, welcomes you to her studio-gallery all year round to let you discover her current works; it will certainly be watercolor, but also pastel or monotype inks. Marielle has a profile that is atypical to say the least: after business school, she began a professional career as an executive, before radically changing course. Remembering her years of evening classes at the Beaux-Arts, and following a trip to Australia, she decided to return to her first love: drawing. Then begins a second life, like a second wind, to succeed in living from his art thanks to his love of sharing.

Originally from Vendée and at heart, the artist moved to Talmont-Saint-Hilaire in 2015 at the port of La Guittière, a listed site, with incomparable light. She was able to realize her dream there: open the Port Art studio, where she creates and teaches all year round. Her creations are of course inspired by light and the surrounding landscapes, which she translates with emotion. Above all, she seeks to transmit a sensitive sensitivity. She also addresses the subjects of the feminine, the couple and dance, through works full of poetry.

Marielle is also the author of a first book "Art-traversées, from one bank to the other of my life", chronicles which, through twenty works and short poems, present to us her unique journey, and let us discover his personal way of apprehending his life as an artist, but also the role of art in our lives.

The whole provides a feeling of calm, and the message it underlines is the hope of a more beautiful world, carried by the energy of change.
