  Julien and Delphine welcome you to their restaurant for a culinary experience based on local products from Vendée and elsewhere. Come and taste the specialties, dishes and recipes of the Vendée, concocted from fresh and local products. Everything is home-made and the menu changes regularly to follow the seasons. Sit in the dining room or on the pleasant terrace (recently redone), in an idyllic setting.
  
  The environment is as pleasant as the dishes are beautiful and tasty. The cuisine is excellent and accommodates a multitude of small details, present for the eyes as much as the papillae. La Bastide is a quality address in Luçon, which will meet the expectations of all, in a warm atmosphere with a team of smiling enthusiasts!

Table for 5, lucky we reserved as was busy mid week. Restaurant needs another waiter as service was lacking, the waiter was overwhelmed. Food was well presented, tasted good, substantial portions, would recommend.

Lovely restaurant, great staff and doggy friendly. What's there not to like. It was one of the best meals I have had. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Charming restaurant with a delightful inner garden courtyard. We had lunch in the shade of olive trees and surrounded by flowers. The fish was cooked to perfection surrounded by vegetables in season. My wife had a pluma de porc served with a butternut puree, grilled vegetables and a delicious gravy. The deserts are equally tasty and imaginative. The prices are more than reasonable and makes for much better value than dining at nearby Sables d'Olonne.

The food at this restaurant is outstanding, with friendly and efficient service. Wine is very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
