40 years of passion
Philippe ORION created the estate at a place called “La Barbinière” in Chantonnay 40 years ago.
The estate is located in the heart of Vendée, near the Atlantic Ocean. Its main originality is the diversity of the terroirs, due to the carboniferous Chantonnay fault, which contributes to the complexity of the wines. The estate produces AOC Fiefs Vendéens and IGP Val de Loire wines specific to each terroir: white, rosé, red, traditional method and more “personal” range.
Today, with a 30 hectare vineyard, Vincent and Alban ORION produce wines reflecting the diversity of Chantonnais terroirs:
- authentic wines with character.
Their philosophy, their meticulous manual work with particular attention to the surrounding fauna and flora naturally directs them towards Organic Agriculture.

March - December:
Monday to Friday 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.,
Saturday 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. / 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
