Nesmy is a town near the very pretty banks of the Yon river. You will discover there the Mill of Rambourg, which it is possible to visit. It dates from the 13th century and its role was to produce flour with its water wheel. It was restored and today it can be visited by inquiring at the Tourist Office.
Hiking trails are present in the town to explore the banks of the river and the fauna and flora heritage associated with it.
Pottery lovers will be delighted to discover in Nesmy, a tradition of more than 165 years of know-how. A craft workshop offers filming courses, manufacturing of tailor-made objects.
In Nesmy is the Golf of the Domangère, a large estate of 70 hectares. It is not necessarily reserved for beginners, since it is one of the most difficult golf courses in France, come and take up the Challenge on this green golf course!
The most important tourist attraction of the town is the Castle of Nesmy and its superb park with 5 ponds. It is open in summer and in September. The castle is private, it has belonged to the same family for 10 centuries.
