Ce sentier au cœur du Parc Naturel Régional du Marais poitevin, entre marais mouillé et marais desséché, vous conduira de l'Eglise St Nicolas aux ruines majestueuses de l'abbaye St Pierre de Maillezais. Il emprunte deux levées qui endiguent les eaux du Marais mouillé afin qu'en temps de crue, elles n'inondent le Marais desséché de l'autre côté.
