  With its 5 hectares of land, the Jamonière campsite "Les Amis de la Forêt" is ideal for all nature lovers. Its fishing pond, its wooded area and its access on foot to the trails of the Mervent forest make this campsite an ideal holiday location.

  The Jamonière campsite has set up specific facilities for disabled people allowing them access to various services : adapted toilets and showers, access ramps and designated areas.
  We also have a mobile home adapted for people with disabilities . Everything to make your nature stay easier!

  In the evening, choose your favorite room: double bed, single beds or bunk beds.

Our wedding taking place at the Château de la Citardière, we recommended this campsite to our guests: zero friendliness and cleanliness, no comfort. When booking, we were even asked completely inappropriate questions (eg: origin of the last name). Our guests couldn't even take a shower on Sunday because there was no hot water.... It's a shame.

To flee! One night reserved for a weekend for a wedding located nearby. The ceremony started at 4:15 p.m. so we asked if it was possible to drop off our belongings earlier (3 p.m. instead of the normal 4 p.m.). Following 2 calls during the week, the manager explained to us (coldly) that it would be complicated because there would be repairs to the bungalows to be done first, which we can understand. Arriving there the campsite is empty, so we find it hard to believe that there was a lot of work in the morning, but let's admit it. We had to pay an extra €2 per vehicle (2 vehicles in addition to the one booked). A deposit was requested, €300 by check or €50 in cash, strange. Once installed we realized that no cleaning had been done, traces of mold on the shower, dust everywhere... In short. To hand over the keys we had to call the next day at 11:30 a.m., which we did. The manager did not answer us, and contacted us again by SMS a few minutes later to tell us that she was not available (because she was at mass...) and offered to come back in the afternoon, which was impossible because we had to leave. We had to wait for the manager to come back to give us back our deposit. She also explained to us at that time that she had charged us for 2 nights (without notifying us before) because "it was the minimum" result, more than €200 to sleep one night in a "lodge" (which is in reality only a hard tent (bungali type) dirty, very aging, with a more than cold welcome, and owners not really available for their customers. This campsite should really be avoided. The only positive point is that it is quite calm and shady.
