  We had a great week at Le Nid d’été! We were very sad to leave because there were crazy evenings hosted by Féfé, as well as crazy aperitif games! He's just awesome! Humor and energy, he is tireless! But also a big thought to Luna and Charlotte, who are adorable and full of energy as well. Thank you to all the STAFF, to their smiles and their kindness. To Antho for serving us as it should every day. To Tim, Enzo, Mendy at the bar and at the grocery store. But also to Frank and Glad, for these great meals, a treat for great value for money! We recommend 100%! And finally, to Pascal the boss, attentive and super friendly! We had a great time as a family (7 people with 3 children), beautiful campsite, nice swimming pool, games, football/basketball field, trampolines and bouncy castle at the appointment, pétanque/Molkky field… We had a comfortable mobile home for 8 people, modern and very clean.

  My cursor for judging a campsite each year is the emotional scale, that is to say how much my heart hurts to leave. Well, unfortunately it doesn't make me either hot or cold, no particular emotion, except a regret of having paid much more than usual for a lesser service. I don't like doing that but really the value for money isn't there: First of all, big disappointment in terms of the swimming pools. There are two different areas, a "zen" swimming pool which could really be nice but not for such a large campsite, and another much less zen where you should not go if you are looking for rest! Pay attention to your ears and you have to elbow your way through the pools and be a good strategist to find a deck chair. I also confirm the state of disrepair noted in the other comments, the cleanliness also leaves something to be desired. As a result, we only went there two or three times in two weeks. Even my teenagers weren't keen on it even though it's their favorite pastime on vacation, with the city stadium. So let's talk about the city stadium, permanently squatted by kids who did everything except sport, it's teeming everywhere, they're shouting, many are disrespectful, in short, my children weren't able to enjoy it either. We feel a real effort, however, in terms of animation. Mona carries it at arm's length and does her best, hats off because it's not easy with so many people. The performance hall is the same as that of the restaurant, so this creates a lack of space, the kitchens are opposite the catering area, so the waiters are constantly crossing through the crowd and people standing trying to to see the show have the impression of being in the way. Special mention to the young girl who serves the treats in the evening: never stressed despite the wait, always with a smile, always pleasant. Finally the mobile home: nice location at the back of the campsite, quiet (fortunately otherwise I think I wouldn't have stayed). On the other hand, bad surprise when arriving, some damage and very relative cleanliness. We had to take out the household products before settling down to feel good. An employee still came to offer to remedy it the next day and apologize for the inconvenience caused, citing a lack of staff and time. At 150 euros for the cleaning deposit, I really expected it to be perfect... In short, you want to think too big but the infrastructure doesn't keep up. It's a shame because the campsite is well located, near the marshes, with many bike trails.
