This is a really lovely small campsite, right in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff, a very helpful greeting when booking in with lots of helpful information. You can choose your own pitch, most have electric access and it's a small enough site you're not far from the very clean and spacious toilets and showers. Lovely looking bar and snack area and shop, although we didn't use this. Perfect for a quiet and relaxing break with walks and cycle paths directly outside the site. I would also add there is great free WiFi around the site - and it actually works (unlike most sites!). No charge for dogs. This place has it all right!

This place was an amazing getaway for me. The service was brilliant and the pitches were clean spacious and really flat. The facilities were spotless and so clean. As a keen paddldebaorder being able to walk to the launch point was amazing. The true icing on top was amazing local craft beers in the shop, they were so good and really opened my eyes to french brewing.

A perfect gem of a site, away from the crowds and the tourist hotspots in the area but within easy reach. Located a stone's throw from a canal with easy access for a kayak or fishing, this little site offered everything we wanted. Pitches are level, delimited by hedging and of a good size. Some are shaded, many are not. The washrooms are genuinely the cleanest we have used on our current trip, and showers are powerful and piping hot. Unfortunately no toilet seats, but paper is provided. Local cycling routes abound on quiet lanes and canalside paths, and access to several nearby villages, as well as interesting places further afield, is easy. The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and spoke good English. They also run a small cafe/bar on site and provide bread if required each morning. A site we'll go out of our way to return to.
