  • Sardines from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, a pure delight to be enjoyed grilled. This first wild fish to have been awarded the Red Label is celebrated every year with a festival called “the spring of the sardine”.
  • Bouchot mussels are raised in the Aiguillon Bay on oak stakes planted in the water, using the Bouchot method. Beyond the taste pleasure, it also offers a beautiful view from the beach at low tide.
  • Sablaise, Vendée sole, fished off the coast of Les Sables-d'Olonne, is delicious cooked meunière style.
